FELiCS at EFDC2 in Dublin

At the 2nd European Fluid Dynamics Conference in Dublin (26–29 August 2025), Alexandre and Lukas presented their latest research featuring FELiCS.

Alexandre showcased his work on flow through a stenosis, where he combined a physics-informed neural network–assimilated mean flow with FELiCS-based resolvent analysis to investigate coherent structures. His results were compared against SPOD modes obtained from LES data.

Lukas presented his investigation of a turbulent separation bubble using resolvent analysis to explore the underlying flow dynamics.

Both contributions highlighted FELiCS as a powerful tool for linearised analysis.
